Scrambled tofu "egg"

Ingredients:
  • 250g Organic firm tofu 
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil 
  • 1 tsp Aromat (flavoured salt) 
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric 
  • 3-5 tbsp Plant based milk 
  • 1 tsp Egg replacement 
  • Black pepper (to taste) 
 Aromat substitute: 
  • 1/4 tsp Salt 
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder 
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder 
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar 
Cooking instructions:
  1. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to a medium-high heat non-stick frying pan.
  2. Scramble 250 g of organic tofu into small pieces.
  3. Break any big pieces left with a wooden spatula to get the smallest pieces possible.
  4. Add 1 tsp of flavored salt or ‘Aromat’ and ¼ tsp of turmeric to the pan with tofu and mix them together.
  5. Add a total of 3 tbsp of plant-based milk to the pan, 2 tbsp go in first and immediately add about a tsp of egg replacement.
  6. Mix all the ingredients in the pan, and then add the 3rd tbsp of plant-based milk.
  7. Optionally, add feta cheese or other toppings such as tomatoes, sausage, and mushrooms on top of the tofu scramble.
  8. Finally, add a dash of black pepper on top.
