  • 400 g AP flour (13% protein)
  • 1/2 tbsp dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Approx. 200 ml warm water
  • 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Cooking instructions:
  1. Mix 1/2 tbsp of dry yeast, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 200 ml of warm water in a glass. Leave it on the counter for 5-10 minutes until it has foam on top.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 400 g of all-purpose flour and mix with the activated yeast liquid and 2.5 tbsp of olive oil. Combine the ingredients and form a dough ball.
  3. Leave the dough ball in a warm place for 30 minutes to rise.
  4. Strengthen the dough by pulling one of the sides up and folding it over for 4-5 times. Flip the dough and let it rest for another 30 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll each part into a ball. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rise for another 15 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees or air fryer to 200 degrees, or heat a pan on medium-high with a few drops of olive oil.
  7. Roll each ball into a half-centimeter thick circle shape and let it rise for another 15 minutes or until the oven is ready.
  8. Put the bread on a heated tray in the oven or pan, or in the air fryer tray. Bake until it has a golden color on top.
  9. Once the bread is done, remove it from the oven or pan and wrap it in a kitchen towel and plastic bag to keep the moisture in. Alternatively, wrap it in a kitchen towel and put it in a closed container or a mixing bowl with a covered lid.
